Biotechnology Academy grads now eligible for transfer credits at Northeastern

Graduates of GMGI’s Gloucester Biotechnology Academy who go on to be accepted to Northeastern University in Boston will get a leg up as they seek a degree in biotechnology there, according to a recent press release.

The Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute has announced graduates of its 10-month certificate training program will be eligible to receive up to 11 transfer credits towards a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology program at Northeastern.

This, GMGI said, is the first agreement the academy has formed with Northeastern University, making this the highest amount of transfer credits to graduates at any institution of higher education.
